    Honeymoon to greece

November 14/2016 To: The Travel Agent Next Door Att: Maria Teresa Febres From: Maribel & Gordon Woit Dear Maria Teresa, We just want to say THANK YOU for your professional guidance while we were researching our "dream" honeymoon destination. We wanted it to be something special but we were confused where to go and how to plan an itinerary that made sense for a honeymoon after those hectic and busy days before the wedding and family visits.... Now I understand what a big difference it makes to book a trip with you as our travel agent (instead of booking on line, as I used to do)!! You were amazing in planning our itinerary to Greece and giving us different options on fantastic hotels in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. Greece via your itinerary was the best destination for us newlyweds, and we could not imagine a better, more romantic getaway! From the moment we stepped off the plane in Athens, we were met by representatives each step of the way. It was great to have a driver waiting to help us at every airport and at every hotel! (I can't tell you how reassuring it was to see someone waiting for us, and not having the hassle of trying to find a cab ourselves.) All the transfers were provided to and from each hotel, airport and ocean port. The Itinerary was perfect but the people you hired in each city who implemented it were even better. The manager, the representatives, the drivers and the guides were all professionals and worthy of saying thanks for a well-done job.We know you faced many challenges, as the low season was approaching and many of the hotels we were researching closed ahead of schedule, but we are very grateful you steered us in the right direction and re-booked even better hotels than we originally planned, we absolutely loved our accommodations! The Breakfast Buffets in each of the Hotels were lavish, and came with everything you could imagine. Very delicious food, cold or hot, fresh fruits, yogurts, antipasto, eggs, many types of breads, sweets, seafood, freshly squeezed juices and even champagne every morning....
Electra Palace Hotel in Athens had an amazing location in the Plaka district, everything was within walking distance to great restaurants and shops, and our room had a wonderful view from our private balcony of the Acropolis and the Parthenon! I cannot imagine being in another location in Athens, other than the Plaka District that you recommended. The half-day tour to the Parthenon and the New Acropolis Museum that you suggested was an incredible highlight in Athens. Our tour guide was so passionate about Greek History which transmitted to us such an amazing background about their feelings, beliefs and their culture as well as a fun way to learn about Greek people and their roots. We also had a great romantic dinner at the Electra Hotel restaurant at the top of the building looking up at the fully lit Acropolis at nighttime. It was so beautiful and the food was delicious....Our flight to Mykonos was on time and our driver was just waiting for us at the airport. Our hotel Mykonian Ambassador was so modern and with an amazing view of the Platis Yialos Beach. Just located 10 minutes drive from the Mykonos Town. We enjoyed our amazing room with our outdoor hot tub, everything was top quality with minimalist decor, exactly to our taste!

    Honeymoon to fiji.

June 2016 - Our honeymoon to Fiji was amazing, out of this world. The whole trip was organized by Maria Teresa Febres from start to finish. After looking to many destinations, Maria Teresa recommended us to go to Fiji. She provided us with many information about the islands, different hotels and cruises we could do, until we finally decided on our dream honeymoon. We left from Toronto and 24 hours later we landed in beautiful Fiji. Right from the start, the people were amazing. The service quality and the attention for outstanding customer service were always a priority. Although the Fiji airport is fairly small, there was no problem getting our bags, just watch out if you are bringing any fruits, soil, or insects; they are prohibited! Our hotel, the Intercontinental Spa and Golf Resort had one of the most beautiful views we had seen in a while. The hotel lies about an hour away from the airport, and while the Rosi Holiday’s driver took us to our hotel, he made an effort to explain a bit of his culture, their good sense of humour, and their customs. The resort was filled of 2 story apartments (about 200 of them) with 3 or more restaurants, boutique shops, 2 swimming pools, a beautiful spa, a beach volleyball court, and more. The peace we felt in that place was unique, just what we wanted for our honeymoon. The beach view was splendid giving us the opportunity to enjoy the warm waters of the pacific at Fiji. On the third day we left to Port Denarau to our next adventure, a 7-day cruise around the Fiji Islands! From the beginning, as usual, all the crew treated us like family. We had never seen people that worked that hard! The Cruise itself was small, it had 4 floors serving about 60 people. Although it was small the experience was unforgettable, the other guests were super friendly and mostly from New Zealand and Australia. The first dinner we had was a fancy dinner and we got to eat with the captain and ask him questions about the trip. The ship took us to beautiful islands including the Sacred Islands and the Blue Lagoon, which were the most beautiful of the trip. We had never seen before such a crystalline water! During these 7 days we went on many snorkeling trips exploring the unique underwater life and to different villages across the Fiji Islands. The trips to the villages were eye opening experiences, seeing the schools, the resources, meeting their people, and seeing reflected the way they like to call themselves “the happiest people on the planet”. At night, the crew made sure to entertain us by singing songs, organizing theme dinners, and drinking their favourite drink named “Kava” follow by its ritual. Sadly, it was time to say goodbye to the cruise and the beautiful views. We got to the port in the morning and a person from Rosi Holidays took our luggage to their office at the airport. This gave us the opportunity to explore the port and the areas nearby before our flight at night. In summary, it was a brilliant idea from our travel agent, Maria Teresa, to do both things: stay at the resort and take the cruise. While there is little chance to see the beautiful islands that Fiji has to offer, by staying in the resort only, the view, the service, and the peace of it all was worth its time. However, after such a long trip away from home, we couldn’t have missed the opportunity to travel across the Fiji Islands. Although the cruise was not as comfortable and luxurious as the resorts, we were able to further explore Fiji as it should be seen. This is why it was a perfect combination, a relax peaceful stay with a bit of adventure and exploration.
